I find it hard to believe. As Brendan quoted, Tsurumaki "didn't know how to
answer it". His dubious answer sure looks like a "luminous" idea which
suddenly crossed his mind.

Or he simply was not prepared to answer a question like that, a clear sign
that most part of Eva discussions are pure speculation and are really
useless for the series comprehension.
