So where are the souls, then? Did they hop back in the puddles? The "blood"
looks very much like the souls here and as I said, there's no compelling
reason to make them look similar unless they are to be one and the same. If
the souls are supposed to be different then why not make them blue or purple
or whatever, any color other than red? Then things would be more obvious to
the viewer.
