Well, the 'Day of Second Impact' CD was held till Septemer 13th 2000
afterall.
By that line of thought, I don't think it was that off-base to go
along with a 'The Birthday
of Rei Ayanami' CD.
I never really thought much about it, but I will admit that I assumed
that the CD was indeed being released on her *date* of birth. But
anyway... I mean, I agree Rei wasn't "born" in 2001. But I agree with
Michael that it is a big marketing scam and I think it certainly had
some underlying implications.
