I doub't he'd have any choice...he didn't put money in it, so he had only what
say he had managed to put in the contract in the beginning...and I dount that
included restrictions on musical scores or whatnot.

Appropriate to you.

Because you give importance to the particular of the year.

All the contrary. Rei's birthday (and not birthdate) _is_ the most logical
choice, since there's been mistery about it.

This is pretty irrelevant, and reviewers are as well. Rei is a character that
has gained enough popularity to be immortalized, what matters if we celebrate
her birthday before or after she's been born? It's something they probably
didn't even consider to begin with. They probably didn't look at it the way you
are doing, and I'd go as far as to say that the reviewers didn't, either, or
were uninformed on the series if they did. In fact, this is the first time in
months that I hear such an objection, that has to be telling something.

I agree on this. They are wrong. They are preys of confusion. But this is
nothing new to Eva.

That's life (and that's what Anno tried to say in Eva, isn't it?).

<snip>

Easy to speak once you got your set of tapes/dvds and Eva's been around for 6
years, but when they first aired it that was normality, you'd be convinced of
something and uphold it in discussion. There will always be misinformation no
matter what, to get upset about it is a self-damaging attitude, IMO.
