[EVA] [SPOILER] Question about Misato and Shinji

My best guess is that this line has to do with the violent arguement we
see Shinji and Auska get into in episode 26' where coffee is spilled on
the floor. At first I though that was an instrumentality head-trip scene
but Misato's comment leads me to believe it was a flashback to an event
that actually occured between episode 23 and 24.
