this is something i have actually wanted to bring up to the list.. it seems 
that this is the perfect opportunity! i must be sick, but it has sort of 
"appealed" to me that this argument would take place in reality. i always 
thought that it might take place post-asuka-mind-rape. before or after she 
ran off. post kaworu even!

possible scenario:

1. asuka mind rape
2. asuka comes home (she was pretty functional directly after the mind 
rape.. well, she was talking to shinji and stuff.)
3. shinji axes kaworu
4. shinji is searching for solace and to vent sexual frustration attacks 
asuka
5. asuka runs off because she's not safe at home, and obviously in 
ridiculous amounts of distress
6. shinji spins further into self-loathing because he came out with his 
feelings for asuka in the worst possible way and time AND attacked her, sort 
of a repeat of the kaworu thing...

any thoughts? if you can point me to a thread on this in the archive or 
whatever, that'd be cool too...also, if my timeline isn't workable, let me 
know. i haven't watched the last episodes and/or the movie in awhile, so i 
could be doing things some way they can't actually fall chronologically.
