I may be wrong but.. wasn't the script for EOE the original television 
ending? I heard something like that earlier on the list that TV Tokyo said it 
was too "graphic" and misleading that it wouldn't be a good ending, so they 
told him to re-write it and create the two TV episodes that we now have..
