That's about as good as it comes. The screen capture is courtesy Deus
(the other Deus) from his DVD (I originally posted a screen cap from my
VHS tape, but that was even less clear). The image is an indistinct cel
underlayed behind the Reiquarium in episode 23 as Ritsuko gives her
monologue. There's no better version of this image. You just have to
look at it carefully.

The scequence is a pan, starting with the cross-beam section of the
cross (Lilith) and paning up to a figure that is connected to her with
an elongated torso. I had thought this was perhaps an image of Lilith
and Adam together before the two split (hence the file name) - but
apparently the Genesis 13 liner notes say it is an image of the cloning
of Eva-01 from Lilith.
