[EVA][EOE] EVA trivia

you forget in episode 20 [I'm pretty sure I'm right about this] Ritsuko
reveals the truth behind the Eva's "armour." it isn't armour as was
assumed, but a harness, much like that found on a horse. Without the metal
harness, the Eva wouldn't respond to the controls of the soul that is needed
to activate it. The electricity clearly drives the entry plug's controls
and the harness' ability to manipulate the Eva. That is why whenever the
Eva goes berserk, it goes berserk AFTER the cord has been severed, the time
limit has run out, and the pilot achieves a extremely high synch ratio. So
we cannot call Eva's "androids" as no mechanical parts make up their
biological structure, they are purely organic beings created by humans as a
clone of Adam [much like Rei] perfected over time until the ultimate version
[the production units seen in the movie], hence the grave yard of "failed"
Evas, and hence the second impact when man first attempted such a clone.
