I only saw a couple parts that were dubbed, that was enough for me. :) The
others didn't strike me as terribly wrong so much as just eh. For instance,
Gendo, he just didn't seem Gendoy enough. The original actor had that deep
voice, conveyed the bastard very well. The newer one had a lighter voice,
still obviously male but just not carrying the same sense of menace. He had
what I would consider to be an assistant's voice, not suitable for being the
Big Bad himself. ;)

And speaking of bastards, we musn't forget the new dubbing for Bastard! We
take a rockstar sort of wizard and give him the sort of voice we'd expect to
belong to a 40-something English tough. ?! <sigh>
