I think everyone got the wrong idea abotu what i was saying.. I didn't mean 
to sound arrogant but I was using tje quoatations as to what Ms. Grant had 
said..

Personally, I would like to see a changed line. I mean I won't deny that 
EoE's ending was great! And yes if you play EVA 64 Asuka at the end does say 
I love you.. but it would be interesting to see the US' version of the story..

I don't think it is right for one thing not to buy something because it is 
changed.. yeah it may be a dramtic line.. but as EVA fans we love what is 
EVA. It neccessarily might not be good.. and it might not be true.. but it is 
still EVA, and no matter what is changed it will still be EVA. They got 
consent from GAiNAX to change the line to their translation. It could be 
something like "I hate you.." or something completely different. 

As far as the voice acting goes.. I happen to be a VA myself, and let me tell 
you it isn't easy work. I actually happen to play Shinji in a fan dub of EoE 
and believe me it is hard trying to come up with something like Spike Spencer 
or for that matter Ms. Megumi. I happen to have my own interpretation of 
Shinji and I believe that is what most of the crew from ADV went for. Just 
because it doesn't sound the way you like it, doesn't mean it is crap. Voice 
acting takes more talent than actually performing on stage or being in a 
movie.. I have yet to get to the point where I can call myself a 
professional.. but it really bugs me when people say that for example.. 
"Maya's voice sucks".. I don't mean to offend and I know I shouldn't be going 
on about a rant but please do respect the VA community.

But sorry about all that by the way.. back on the subject..
