I don't want to sound harsh but this was taken way too personal. I think that 
this whole thing about changing EVA has heated up some discussion. 

I also believe we are turning into what may have caused Anno to write the EoE 
in the first place. 

It shouldn't matter what we want, it is Anno's interpretation. Yes and if a 
line is changed it is changing what Anno wanted I know that. I knew that from 
the beginning. But, everyone has their own views. Maybe they saw the last 
line in a different context, and wanted to perform it that way. I know that 
it was a big thing for when GAiNAX was doing the recordings, most EVA fans 
know that. I just wish everyone would stop bickering about changing lines and 
such and hating people for changing a freaking line. It is a movie, and as a 
movie it is entertainment and should not be viewed otherwise. Yeah I take EoE 
to the extreme because I really relate to EVA, but look at what we are.

We are the whiny fans who didn't like the ending to the series, who forced 
Anno to create a more "suitable" ending..
