Anno On Mahoromatic OP Storyboards

                     Hideaki Anno, director of Evangelion, will
reportedly be presiding over the layout of animation
storyboards on the Opening theme of Studio Gainax's
latest anime Mahoromatic. Mahoromatic, is based on a
manga series from Comic-Gum and is produced by
Gainax-Shaft the anime will be directed by Hiroyuki
Yamaga, director and scriptwriter of "Ouritsu Uchugun -
Oanemisu no Tsubasa" and scriptwriter of "Top wo nerae!"
(Released as Gunbuster in the US)

                     The series is the story of a female comabat
robot used to save earth from alien invasion. In the years
following the successful repelling off the invasion one of the
robots is rewarded will a free life, but after her weapons are
removed she'll only function for another 398 days.
