[EVA] Adam-Lilith, quite a few spoliers in the long answer

Gee... and they even said it *twice* for people who didn't get it the first
time...  :P
With all the duality imagery from the series, is it really so difficult to accept
that the two are equivalent?  I find it rather hard to accept any reason for not
understanding the "Adam and Lilith are the same sources of life" line, except that
the person does not want to.

Yes -- as has been pointed out many times, that particular RCB line contradicts
information given in the show, and is obviously in error.

In that case, Gendo/Fuyutsuki should not have had any problem allowing Seele to
interview Rei.  They specifically said that they did not want Seele to know about
Rei's true nature, and send Ritsuko in her stead.  This is evidence that Rei was
not part of Seele's plan and thus could not be included in the Angel numbering.
