[EVA] Biggest source of new Eva info since the RCB!!

My main thing with this scene is the blood.... Damage to the eva never
caused real wounds before, interesting stuff. Also, it's never made clear
that Asuka died (another thing for those wonderful little cards to help us
with)....

That's easy. During the battle against the MPMs Asuka  should have reached
a very high (say 400%) so the massive damage that the Eva suffered was
reflected on Asuka's body...if you pay attention, the copies of the Lance
of Longinus stroke Eva 02 on the eye and on the arm. Plus, Asuka felt pain
when the MPMs were eating EVA 02's organs and died when Eva 02 died.
