Well, go back and look at my translation... and you are right -- the Japanese
is a bit vague, but specifically says "in Ikari".  If they had added the
Japanese word "te" (hand), it would have been a true double entendre, as it
could be read as either "in Ikari's hand" or "in Ikari's possession.
It has been so long since I looked at that scene...
