Yes. She remarks about how much time she has to kill the EVA series and it 
is five minutes. (minus the time lost from when her power cord was first 
cut)

And she IS going at full during that battle. There is no other way.

Ritsuko: If Eva uses its internal battery in an emergency, at full strength 
it will run for one minute, or for up to five minutes otherwise, even with 
gain.

Ritsuko says that five minutes is the absolute maximum. Well, she was wrong.

Yes. Less than a minute after she says it, the power readout shows 5 minutes 
at the maximum power output mode.

I guess Gainax changed their minds, but forgot to change the line.
