Hmm...on second glance, the woman in that scene really does look like
Misato, recognizably so..I never noticed that, though.  Makes the scene
even more intriguing...more insinuations that she "can't be his mother"
when she leaves?  And I see what you mean about the bottom part of the
stage thing..yes, I agree that the 'mysterious figure' is kid Shinji.
