Actually, there is no "Biblical" order, since the names of the magi are not 
actually mentioned in the Bible.  Names got assigned to them over time, and 
just stuck with the story, but it's not actually part of the text.  I'm sure 
the numbering was probably just arbitrary, just like the arrangement of the 
magi in the control room.  If you go from right to left, the numbering 
matches the arrangement of the magi whenever you see them on the monitors.
