Of course. It's a bad thing when the fan scripts are better than the 
official. Though the translation isn't bad. The commentary makes it sound 
like this is a mastering issue...

Madman would change it though, given a proper explanation. Lets at least 
ensure that the Region 4 DVD is correct...

Their commentary was interesting, as they pointed out the times that they 
purposely changed something. Being that they changed the sound effect on the 
scene transition from THAT Kaji scene to the scene with Shinji and Asuka 
from a slap to a bang, added a line of dialog to the guy with the 
flamethrower, and toned down a sound effect in Rei's battle with the ring 
angel.

Oh yes. The dub pronounciation is now "Eh-va" and "Eh-van-gel-ion" as 
opposed to "Ay-van-gel-ion" and "Ay-va." I don't see any reason why.
