production of the TV series so badly (Gainax asked them to make changes
and improvements but ADV brushed them

Everything down to the smallest detail -- even the lettering type and
font on the eyecatch telops had to be

I agree. My post merely wondered "what if?". "Spriggan" is ADV's big
feature, and they did not even give the Japanese cast listing at the
end. Bad as Manga for that (GiTS).

But why did Manga not include Allison Keith as Misato in the dub cast
listing for D & R? Is a puzzlement.
