i don't know about that. the DVDs have been selling like mad for ADV, and 
the perfect collection box set is a gigantic hit -- every time i see it in a 
store, it's gone the next time i go back. i think they sold tons of it. if 
the popularity were slacking off, ADV would have done a release like they're 
doing for nadesico (bargain) instead of full box-set. i don't think manga is 
really going to have problems selling the movies. D&R has supported more 
threads on the AoD forums than any other DVD in recent memory, and imo it's 
not 1/10th as interesting to talk about as EoE. people are buying them.
