[EVA] EoE little spoiler: dream or reality?

But that can be explained by saying that Shinji at the 
beginning of Air was repeating what Asuka had said to 
him the last time they had actually talked. That is if 
the scene took place in reality, then Asuka said that 
to him before the hospital scene and thus when Shinji 
sees her again he admits what she said previously. 

He also seems to "repeat" other stuff that he said in 
that scene as well. From the beginning of Air, Shinji says, 
"Help me... Help me, Asuka. Hey... Wake up! Come on... 
Wake up! Come on... Hey... Asuka... Asuka... ASUKA!! 
Help me... Help me... Help me... Help me... Help me!" 

>From the scene in episode 26', only Shinji's lines are as
follows: "Asuka, help me! You're... you're the only one 
that can! Asuka... Asuka, help me! Please, help me! Help 
me... Somebody... Somebody help me... Help me... Help 
me... Me... Help ME!!" 

Of course this could work either way, Shinji said those
things in the HCP world because he was remembering what
he said in Asuka's hospital room, or Shinji said those
things in Asuka's hospital room because he was remembering
the real even portrayed later on as a "flashback" in episode
26'. 

I think there are definite similarities between the two 
scenes, but unfortunately we can't draw and conclusions
about the relative times each happened based on what is 
said. If only Shinji had said "I know you said this but.."

Of course as I mentioned in another post, I think it can
go either way, I don't think there is enough evidence to
suggest one way or the other with any conviction.
