[EVA]On "One Hour Photo" (OT)

The eva series 5-13 has a cameo on the Mark Romanek feature "One Hour Photo," in no less than three scenes--albeit as an action figure that is briefly the object of desire of one of the lead characters. 

(Spoilers)

in the first EVA scene, a kid erroneously describes the figure (still in its package) as one of the "good" evas. To hear robin williams say "neon genesis evangelion" was worth the price of admission. This all occurs inside a suburban wal-mart type store. highly unlikely, but there it is. 

the second has williams handing it off as a gift after a soccer game. 

the third scene has the action figure, sans blister pack, atop william's desk, in a menacing pose. 

glad to see that the EOE got a major studio release, in a manner of speaking...
