Too late.  Wasn't the best when it came out, and was beaten by Escaflowne mere months later anyway.  In this fan's opinion atleast.

Anyway, any sequel/spinoff to Eva would be a complete and utter travesty in my opinion and would seriously reduce my opinion of all those involved.  My opinion of Eva is a lot lower than that of the average Eva fan, considering I think the show is so insanely overrated and other factors, but nevertheless I do have a lot of respect for Anno and the others involved and would lose it all if they ended up making some spinoff just to make more money off it.
