I can respect that. I've never mucked around much with
mailing lists, only one I spent any time on was for Delta
Green, a spin-off of the Call of Cthulhu RPG. Since Delta
Green was a sort of X-Files government conspiracy meets
Cthulhu there was simply a ton of divergent sources that
could be drawn upon for inspiration. Discussions of ideas
for campaigns, elements of the mythos, or just things that
were creepy as hell. Whenever a n00b brought up a point
that had been hashed over they were directed to an indexed
and cataloged archive of the entire mailing list. That's
right, every message of value was put right in the proper
place. So the n00b could read the body of discussion, see
if he had anything to add, and it could be brought up in
the list proper.
I don't think I remember seeing archives here. If there
are archives, are they as easy to search? If so, that
could be helpful.

Ah-ha! Post something scintillating and on topic then.
Then there won't only be tangents. :) Personally I could
go for another big round of Winn-Lee bashing. Seriously. I
don't understand why people who don't have a love of the
art get involved in something artistic. Grrrrrr!
