[EVA] to tangent or not to tangent [meta]?

I remember the heyday of this board, where we would dissect a topic for quite a while and ACTUAL information would come out of it. Then misfits would join the ML, go to war with veterans, die a horrible death and never return. Just
because of the lack of traffic on this ML, doesn't mean the rules are obsolete. But, for the same reason, we can't expect newcomers to understand the rules, because even during the peak of this ML, we had cats like this joining the ML. I remember back in like 95 or so I was one of them. I
went to war with Brendan(always such a fruitless battle.Brendan, you ever notice how people tend to do that alot? Whats up to everyone, I haven't posted in FOREVER.
