Oh yeah, Misato is quite a unique person. Mitsuishi portrays her dual 
nature very well.

I think she would, she had stuff that she left unfinished. This 
inadvertently raises a question - if Misato could be part of the 
ascension to heaven, notwithstanding that she was shot before the 
Lilith-Rei union began, then wouldn't that mean that Kaji and other 
unfortunate people could come back as well? Or is salvation only 
granted to those not yet buried? (If heaven's gonna be that crowded, 
I'm not all that sure I want to go there - at least hell is 
self-cleansing. :)
