That's what I mean. They're not interested in English
additions to their releases. They just don't care
about it. This goes for the accuracy of what English
*does* appear in any future release. It's now a
non-issue for them.

I'm not so sure. I believe he left AnimEigo to work
for them, and was the in-house translator. I assume he
was the person who updated (or at least translated)
the english Gainax website too (notice the English
website hasn't been updated for like.. almost a year).

I don't know what his position was for sure, but I do
think that it was more than just something he did on
the side.
