I know. What I was saying that I was spending over $100 for episodes I
already have. I thought at $90 I was being a good little consumer and

It won't be moot till the old DVDs sell out :P
The general anime fan, who doesn't follow animeonDVD.com and who just
goes in an buys Eva for the first time won't know anything. But to be
fair - they probably won't notice the overlays... but it's a matter of
principle :P

Heh... when I said stuff like this on the Manga Ent. forum I was quickly
labeled a Manga Apologist (and Peter can back me up on this ;)
But ADV does it and these points suddently become valid (I'm not
directing this to you - just venting a little).

Oh, I wasn't taken aback by what ADV did. Not at all. ^^;
I was taken aback by how little the furor over this was and how immense
the backlash over Manga's WoH disc was.
