[EVA] reissue of the first DVD

yes, it's true.
according to ADV rep DLW on the anime on DVD forums, it's actually reached 
retail but there's not currently any way to tell if what you're holding is 
the new version since the packaging is identical to the old version. once 
the current print run of pacakging is used up, you'll be able to tell by 
whether or not the spine matches up with the spines of the latter volumes; 
if it does, then it's the new printing. it'll also be included in the eva 
box set that's due soon.
