But this list is clearly international and is about Eva in general, not
resticted to any one country. Madman Entertainment is the Australian
company who owns the TV series (and movies?) yet Amanda posts on their
forums about the US release from Manga Entertainment. I dunno, I just
find it kind odd. I mean, she can post wherever she wants to. It's her
right. But one would think perhaps animeonDVD.com or Manga's forums
(when they were up, once upon a time) would be better for these little
news drops :P

Right - perhaps info for the bookelt they're creating but this should
not hav any impact on the sub/dub script. Understanding the origin of
the Lilith-Adam stories and the like are almost a non-issue for the
actual film.

Indeed. I prefer the more direct "I'm scum/I'm the worst/etc." variety
but "I'm fucked up." was actually the first translation I ever saw of
the line (by Naoki Naemura for his website) so apparently there is some
way the derive such a translation from the line (?) I do think though
that, "I'm the lowest of the low." sounds too wordy and a bit.. cliche
:P
