[EVA] Question about Birth Days

You mean, start early and mold/imprint the youngster to follow her only 
parent? There's just one thing that seems a bit fishy here. After you're 
born, the growth of your mental processes must be actively aided or at 
least stimulated somehow. Locking Rei up for five years would mean that 
she'd miss a lot of important stages in her development, and probably 
come out pretty retarded. She'd be unable to recognize visual cues and 
have more than basic motorics skills, let alone speak. In fact, she'd be 
a useless vegetable. She must have a soul that has already gone through 
all these processes. But whose? Yui's is in EVA 01, after all... and 
having Lilith's soul would have made her an angel and probably pretty 
unpredictable, like Kaworu.
