[EVA] Please say it isn't so

I heard something that nearly made me piss myself.... We all know that in 
Australia they released Eva to Cartoon Network. The rumor is that it's gonna 
happen here in the states too. If this happens, they'll turn it into a Y7 
show... yes, it's possible, just look what they did to Outlaw Star! Not only 
that but it'll be mainstream instead of underground for just the big Anime 
fans like us... imagine walking into school and having everyone be talking 
about the series that used to just be an exclusive thing to you! And still 
I'm hung up on how they'd edit it... I mean my God think of all the damage 
they'd have to but can do to it! Painted on bathing suits when someone's 
naked, language, blood, all the biblical references! It'd be a whole freaking 
new series! I don't know why they can't just show Duel! which is a shameless 
rip-off of Eva but is still more kid-friendly, and it's not big enough yet 
for anyone to care if it gets ruined by CN. And don't go telling me the crap 
like "hey, they'll put it on Adult Swim so if it goes mainstream at least it 
won't be edited," because that's bull my friends, look how they mutilated 
everything on their "adult swim" with the exception of Yu-Yu and Cowboy 
Bebop, those are the only ones that didn't start edited or didn't get edited. 
For the love of all things sacred in the world of anime I'm praying the rumor 
isn't true, else I'll have to go to the CN studios and blow up everyone there
