look here's the thing. it really doesn't matter! the DVDs are out and EVA has an already huge following, even if it did aire on CN nobodoy would care because nobody would understand it. the show takes a while to fully understand and if you watch it out of order you just get REALLY confused. besides if your so insecure about it becoming mainstream then what kind of a fan are you? you should be happy that your favorite anime is finally gonna get some time in the limelight. besides if it does get popular kids will go buy the DVDs and they'll find out the truth about the show.
