It was unedited both of those times, yes. It was also unedited when Cartoon Network showed it (No, wait, sorry, they're still showing it, aren't they?) at 10:30pm Fridays and Saturdays as part of Adult Swim. I believe the rights for them to show NGE over here though were granted by the local sub-licensor Madman Entertainment, not by ADV.
