[EVA] Question about Birth Days

 Ikari Shinji is born on the 6th of June. He's dubbed by 
Ogata Megumi. Ogata Megumi is born on the 6th of June.

That is the only connection. The date of the Second Impact
is also just a reference to an event in "Space 1999".
