Why? How many different hi fi media players do you have. Phonograph,
tape, DAT, Mini Disc, CD? or PC media for that matter.

So what's wrong with different format video media. I have 4 VHS VCRs, LD
& AV3 amp.player, 6 DVD players (4 stand alone)...but only 3 TVs, all
4:3..& stereo amp.

DVD movies are too often 16:9 or worse 2.35:1. Widesceen TVs are too
expensive.
