You can buy a fansub of *only* the directors cut scenes. The scenes are
those not on any licensed Eva outside Japan, but with that it is
possible to patch together those OVA episodes, or just use their
translation & timing if you buy Gainax vol.6. I think bochan_bird's
translation was used, so is accurate.
