I don't like Sadamoto's portrayal of Touji. I've always seen him as the 
guy who does have feelings and is very sensitive to how other people 
feel, but doesn't like making a fuss about it. The manga Touji clings to 
Shinji's legs like poison ivy and whines how scared he is about the 
piloting job. That was really overdone if you ask me, it ruined the 
whole mood. Otherwise, I like the manga so far...

One thing that majorly irks me though, is all the references to Adam 
being the white blobby thing hidden in the basement. The glossary 
appendix in the sixth volume of the manga makes it pretty obvious that 
they've totally changed Lilith's identity, unless this is a clever foil 
to keep us fans on our toes (official disinformation and such). I don't 
understand why they're so blatantly changing something that 
fundamental... it's a little disappointing... the key scene with the 
17th angel's failure (or in this case, the 12th) has become totally 
unpredictable now.
