Oh, I wouldn't know. I don't think Rei has much of Yui at all, as a
personality. And I believe Sadamoto may be recovering the original, non
Lilith-soul-in-Rei plotline.

There would be no  reason to have Naoko in a bloody pulp over the Magi
if it weren't to recall the anime scene, so I think that as far as the
suicide matter goes, it is safe to assume there are no changes.
