As others have already pointed out, you are confusing "canon"
with "official", so here are some simple definitions to help you:

[Official]
Alternate works *based on a series* that are either by or authorized by the original creator(s) and/or
rights holders. These can range from highly accurate alternate scenarios which are carefully designed
to offer a sense of being "part of the story", to completely fantastical settings like some of
Sadamoto's artwork or even the "official" Gainax hentai phonecards.

[Canon]
*Actual events/facts* as portrayed in the series or explained in official reference materials
pertaining to a series. This is the basis for interpretation of events and other discussions. In
other words, the truth, the whole truth, and *nothing but the truth*.

So, since you continue to insist that Girlfriend of Steel/Iron Maiden is "canon" (see definition
above), please answer the following question:

Which of the alternate scenarios/events/endings are the "canon" ones?

Tough question, right? **Because they can't ALL be canon!**
And if they can't all be canon, then ipso facto the game itself is not canon.

I have no problem with calling the game "official", since it is.
I do, however, object to labelling it as "canon" for the series/movies.
