Thanks for your impression. I think Allison Keith, as for Eva TV, and as
Misato is, is the true hero of Eva in English.

Was the Japanese word for "plants" wrongly translated as "flowers", or
is it one of those contextual words which the translator did not check
the visuals for thoroughly.

Amanda Winn usually played hyper characters such as Rally Vincent. Rei
was an exception for her. IIRC she was originally going to be Misato,
but AK was chosen instead.
