For those of you who still hate the original ending, I hear Higher 
Learning just wrapped up. Higher Learning is a novel-length fanfic 
that seeks to be a sequel to EVA as well as solving problems with 
the original ending. Highly nifty. I plan to read the final chapters 
with much joy this weekend. :)
