[EVA] Is that the real Asuka

Hi to everybody.

I saw the ending scene of "End of Evangelion" and I would like to ask to someone better 
informed than me: is the Asuka laying beside Shinji the "real" Asuka? The passive way she 
reacts to Shinji and the emotionless face she shows let me think that "there is something 
wrong" with her. Asuka would certain had smacked him or shouted "What are You doing upon 
me, You pervert!".

Can someone explain me what I didn't catch.
