Quite.
Really, my main complaint - with the whole series - was how it went from
an almost perfect blend of moderate angst, a bit of mixed dark and light
humor, and a good bit of action, to _that_.
The 13th angel I could forgive - almost.
The 14th angel was interesting, and served more than one purpose.
The 15th angel eliminated one of the major sources of comic relief - I
could barely watch that episode. Oh yeah, it introduced the superweapon.
(Did we even see that thing before Rei fetched it? Talk about Deus ex
Machina!)
The 16th angel, was actually not too bad - if taken separately.
Considering it in addition of the 15th, it was horrifying.
And the 17th angel...how? I still don't understand that episode.
It could have stopped there. It _should_ have stopped there. Or earlier.
Aaaargh. No need to clutter up the list with a flamewar, though. If
someone wants to slug me for this opinion, I'll give you the
snailmail...
Sebastian
What happened? I stopped laughing.
