It is NOT canon.
The anime VAs are the same to please Eva fans -- nothing more.
The events portrayed do NOT take place at any time in the Eva-verse we know from the TV series and
movies.  It might be thought of as a similar but *separate* universe, and nothing in the game that was
not already shown in the anime can be considered canon for the anime.

I repeat -- it is NOT canon.
