[EVA] the silliest question ^_^;;

For the same reasons written by Bochan_Bird and Christian Nutt, the
Evangelion manga serialized on Shounen Ace-A is official, but it is not
canon _to_the_tv_series_, which is, shall we say, the main thing.
Perhaps the manga makes this distinction more evident, because it is a
story with points of contact with the tv series storyline yet it is well
known that it's a different one.

Of course, things don't work in black and white fashion, and degrees of
distance are the key here. The "Shinji and his good friends" game where
we see Asuka dressed liek a cowboy in a saloon is obviously more distant
in its setting than the Iron Maiden game, still both are not in the Eva
storyline.

If anything, Iron Maiden doesn't make any sense to the real deal behind
Eva, so it does not belong there.
