Hi there. sorry for coming into this discussion so
late, but it seems to me that if N2 weapons are
non-nuclear then, (if i remember my year 10 science
right), the only way that they could have the same
nuclear blast without the radiation effects and
without structural damage would be to base the weapon
not around plutonium or uranium, but some other
element - or even possibly a compound. They would have
to choose an element with similar properties, but a
shorter halflife (as in split second short).
Then again, "non-nuclear" is pretty non-specific, it
could be basically anything.
What the hell, just say "it's 2015 and they have
invented a powerful new non-nuclear weapon"
