The subtitles are the only reason I am getting the DVDs. If mine are
bad, I'll swap them for VHS subs.

Not really. Amazing it has taken so long. Who'd have thought after
Vol.13 that the movies would come at all, take so long & that Gainax

I'll buy that! I think AWL had pretty much a carte blanche as regards to
translation.

Is that why the TV episode was translated as "The Beast that Shouted I".
I thought it was a paraphrase of a Harlan Ellison story.
